WESA becomes a study council and official participation within PF
To those who missed the good news on Instagram and Facebook, WESA is now officially a Master Student Council! It's a dream long in the making that finally became reality! This means that the organization is now officially recognized by PF and DTU, with a more formal structure and operation procedures. Our goals remain the same, but this step helps us move forward with greater momentum and support. Specifically we will get three seats in ISN (Institutstudienævn) Wind where we together with the professors will evaluate all course within the DTU Wind Energy Department. Moreover, we have gained voting rights in the Joint Council of PF, where we will use our influence to provide better conditions for international and Danish Wind Energy students alike. Achieving high impact on one of our three set goals: Provide the best study environment for our students at DTU.
Thank you! to everyone being involved in the process and especially Kasper Holck for driving the process and communication with PF. He seemingly glad commented "I'm happy to see WESA finally being recognized as a master student council, this will legitimize us further and allow the Wind Energy students at DTU more influence on their studies and their study environment".
